Hi from the traveling mom!!

People say you can't travel once you have kids! Vacation with kids is nothing but taking care of them in a different location! it's hard!! how would you manage? take them to disneyland! they wont remember anything its a waste of money and efforts, There are a thousand why's asked to a mom who travels and I say why not?

Be it an impromptu road trip to a short weekend getaway or a well planned vacation to a scenic and remote destination which is 2 flights away, everything is absolutely possible with kids.

Do you know why traveling with kids is actually so easy? well they have no expectations!! atleast as long as they are toddlers!! when we travel with a bunch of adults, some one wants their home cuisine, some one wants a pool in the hotel, the spender is always concerned about the budget, while we should ensure easily accessible rooms to the older people, but all that babies need are space!!

The earlier you make them travel, the easier they get used to it. It opens up their minds in ways we can not imagine and every successive vacation with them becomes easier! check out this blog for more interesting travel stories with my lil one and family and also watch out this space for some funny fails as I make the most silly mistakes in all my vacations in spite of plannimg them well in advance. At the end of the day its all fun and happy memories and we are a set of happy parents with a happy kid.

every destination we pick is not centered around our kid, we pick the places we want to visit and then try to make it as kid friendly as possible, and yes its always better to leave certain destinations to when they grow up, specially ones which have hostile climates, lack basic infrastructure, are not safe to travel, etc.
