When you travel to a place rich in history and culture like the Rajasthan, there are a lot of places you can stay in, but I honestly belive your experience is incomlete until you stay in a heritage property giving you the complete vibes of royalty.
While we are just back from Jaipur, my heart still remains in our hotel there, the Alsisar Haveli belonging to the royal family of Alsisar who are now into full time hospitality business. While Alsisar Mahal is their own palace converted into a hotel located in the village of Alsisar about 200 kms from Jaipur, we stayed at the Alsisar Haveli which used to be one of their homes but has been majorly refusbished and renovated pretty recently
You can clearly see the difference between any random palace themed hotel and one run and belongs to a royal family. They are one of the sub clans of the main royal family of Jaipur founded some 500 years ago.
Nestled at the heart of the city this is a hotel perfect for a beautiful staycation/ vacation in Jaipur. This hotel is not more than 3 to 4 kms away from all the major landmarks of Jaipur city including the City palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the Bapu and johari markets. Its also within a short distance of the Nahargarh fort and Amer fort, you also get a very beautiful view of the Nahargarh fort from the roof top of this hotel.
Our experience:
Honestly I could not get enough of this hotel, if you are a photogrpaher, a vlogger or an instagramer this hotel gives you plenty of opportunities and amazing content. And just because they have amazing ambience and we live in an age of social media, they dont stop with that, they also have amazing service be it about adressing our concernns in the room or the food. What I really loved was that their restaurant was pretty big with ample space of movement inbetween and a beautiful outdoor seating area which makes is much more fun for toddlers during meal time.
The food:
They have a good selection of Rajasthani as well as normal north Indian spead and the best part is that the taste is just correct with no excess spice or salt and ideal for kids as well as senior citizens. Since a major chunk of guests in this hotel come from outside India and are not used to our level of spices, I guess their chefs are trained to cook food this way, which worked for us too but they are more than ready to customize the food with the kind of taste you want. The only down side here is the waiting time. They take close to 40 mins for a cup of Masala tea which kind of made me want to barge into their kitchen and make a cup for myself ;).
Apart from this we had a very positive experience here and a highly convenient stay, This property is almost always fully booked and pretty difficult to get availability, comment to get availability and the best prices for this hotel and book your stay with us. We could not take the pictures of the room as we were pretty tired as soon as we came and made a mess which lasted pretty much for our entire stay, but this is pretty much how the room looks like (Source: tripadvisor)

The hotel also had a pretty cool pool area, they do not have a separate pool for kids so if you are with kids and toddlers who insist on getting in when they see one its better to avoid going there.
PS: Specially abled as well as senior citizens book well in advance and place a request for room in the ground floor as this hotel does not have an elevator.
